How to Get Nanami's Ending
You want him to go home with his childhood friend this is the ending you want.
It's always good to have a friend, right?
In Chapter 1 - This is a filler chapter, you don't need to do anything.
In Chapter 2 - Forget Alielle! She could be chased for all you care!
In Chapter 3 - There is no important plot points in Chapter three.
In Chapter 4 - Be mean to Rune. Who cares how she feels?
In Chapter 5 - As long as you don't bring along Shayla, you are okay.
In Chapter 6 - Don't get the Thingy.
In Chapter 7 - You were surprised when you got the object.
In Chapter 8 - Let Ishiel go. You have no weapon, anyway.
Conclusion - As Long as you have a Friend…
"Diffuse the energy!" Makoto yelled. The energy swept him and the others on board
the Eye of God. Everyone watched in awe. What happened to everyone, especially Makoto?
"AAAUUUGGGHHH!" screamed Makoto. His eyes were held so tight, he didn't realize
where he was. When he took a breath, he opened his eyes. He was in the Science Lab.
"Uh… I'm… alive?" He looked around. "This is the school's Science Lab." He laughed
silently. "Oh… wow, that must have been a dream. I wonder if anything actually happened?
With Jinnai jumping me last night…" He looked at the ground. "Speaking of Jinnai…
he's still on the floor."
Jinnai woke up from his sleep. The only thing he could remember is that he went
after Makoto and then, for some reason, slept on the floor. He let out a little
chuckle as he lay on the floor. "Oh, hello, Makoto." Makoto almost leaped for joy.
"Jinnai, I can't believe it, you're okay!" Jinnai stood up from the floor. "Um…
listen, Makoto, about last night… I think I passed judgment on you too quickly.
So, uh… sorry about the whole 'black cultist' bit, okay?" Makoto started to think
about Nanami. "Nanami? Where is she?" Jinnai shrugged. "Maybe she slept at home."
The door opened behind them. Nanami stepped into the room, her hair left frayed.
"Nanami! I'm so glad to see you!" Nanami just stared at him. "Oh, hello Makoto-chan."
Then she looked around the room. "What was with the yelling last night? Did Jinnai
give you a scare?" Jinnai brushed himself off and left the room with an interesting
thought about an anecdote in today's meeting. Makoto couldn't believe this. "Nanami,
don't you remember what happened?" Nanami answered this in an innocent matter, "Yeah,
we fell asleep in the school, what about it?" "Oh, never mind that…" Makoto still
wanted to be persistent on the other part. "I don't mean that. Do you remember a
place called El-Hazard?" Nanami looked at him with concern, "El-Hazard? Makoto,
Jinnai didn't hit your head or anything, right?" Makoto is baffled. "Are you SURE
you don't remember that? It was a few weeks, you know." Nanami shook her head. "I
told you. You shouldn't be spending so much time in here, Makoto-chan." Makoto just
remembered one more thing. "Wait a minute! Nanami! Where is Fujisawa? I don't see
him anywhere!" Nanami took that with surprise. "Wow, you REALLY must be spending
too much time in here! He is in the Teacher's Lounge."
Fujisawa was still laid on the Teacher's Lounge Floor. Makoto rushed in to see
him. "Mr. Fujisawa! Remember what happened?" The response he got was a little more
than a snore. "Oh, not you either." Nanami tapped Makoto. "Keep quiet, he's still
sleeping." Makoto felt as if his heart fell to the floor. "So, he wasn't there,
either?" Fujisawa started talking in his dream, "…and we can see during the revolution…"
Nothing he said related to El-Hazard at all. Nanami stated what should have been
obvious to Makoto before. "See, Makoto? It must have been a dream. Why must you
continue making such a big deal on that science project of yours? We are starting
to get sick of it, you know?" Makoto tried his best, but he couldn't win. "It… can't
be… I thought it worked… You, Mr. Fujisawa and Jinnai were all in… El… Hazard…"
Makoto stayed in the lab and started to dismantle the machine. As he wrote his
thesis on it, he couldn't shake the feeling of another failure that seemed to not
have been a failure. But, Nanami, Fujisawa and Jinnai didn't remember a thing. "No
matter how hard it is to say that the experiment failed, I still can't shake the
feeling that it actually happened. And so, I conclude that, after constant experimenting,
that it is not possible to create the experiment written in 'Electricity and dimensional
gateways' inside my school. This does not mean that I don't want to retry the experiment
someday… and revisit the land that does not seem to exist to anyone but me. The
land called El-Hazard." As he was walking home, he heard someone call his name.
"Makoto-chan!" Makoto turned and saw Nanami. "Oh, hello, Nanami!" Nanami patted
him on the back. "Makoto, you silly klutz, you still forgot to walk me home!" She
came around and looked at Makoto. "I know you are depressed about your project not
working… I think what you need is a Nanami special boxed lunch!" Makoto looked at
the ground. "I think I need more than a boxed lunch this time," Nanami thought for
a second. "How about dinner and a movie, then?" Makoto just couldn't help and laugh.
"I don't get it, what's so funny?" Nanami asked him. "Oh, nothing, Nanami." Makoto
sighed and they walked together home. "You know, even if the experiment was a failure,
I will always have you for comfort as a friend, Nanami." Nanami giggled. "Maybe
we could be even more than that, Makoto-chan!" Makoto laughed again. "You know,
Nanami, I think anything could be possible!"
