A vast desert of filled with white sand that gave the desert its distinctive name. The desert stretches from the western areas of the Holy Mountains of god and stretches far south.

The desert is hot and unforgiving and those who dare to make the trek across are best to be prepared. However, while humans are a rare in the area, it does mean that they do not survive there. Quiet the opposite, in fact. There are those who not only live there, but also thrive.

This is attributed to the few oases that appear between the dunes of white sand. Desert markets have sprung up, offering travelers a chance to rest and resupply before continue their own journeys. Those who live in this hostile environment know the advantage of being one of the few to have goods and services in such a place and thus they take advantage of it.

Alas, however, there are those who also thrive through more nefarious means and travelers have to be wary of pirates who travel the desert in skimmers. They will often pose as transport operators, offering transportation for those who appear weak and then robbing them either through extortion or simply stealing their valuables and leaving them in the desert to fend for themselves.

The biggest landmark of interest in the desert is the Hot Springs at Arliman, which is a holy place reserved for only the holy peoples. Those wishing to visit will have to make the trek on foot or by their own means, as the locals seem extremely unwilling to offer transport there, lest they offend God.
