Locales/Gannan

Gannan is a small nation with a thriving riverport. Gannan holds the proud distinction of being one of the first nations to be conquered by Jinnai as he leads the Bugrom Forces. In fact, it is for his victory over the Gannan forces that he is awarded his first medal. It is also from Gannan that Jinnai launches the Bugrom Marine corps, in hopes of being led to the Forbidden Island.

Since it was one of the first targets of the Bugrom, it is reasonable to assume that Gannan is located close to Bugrom territories, possibly where the river is most narrow, making it an excellent first target as it allows the conquered nation to become a staging area to launch future assaults on the Alliance.
