There reside on El-Hazard, three sage and wise chief priestesses whom serve and uphold the most holy of holy traditions. Not only do they uphold the dogma of the ancient El-Hazardian religion, but they also act as warriors and protectors in times of great duress. So where exactly do these great and wise priestesses live? At one of three possible holy shrines.

As one enters the town of Volcano Lisabi, they are only a short hike from a large volcano. Inside the cone of that volcano, is the Holy Shrine of Fire. When one descends the long stairs into the volcano's cone, one will first be assaulted by the thick smell of sulfur. They will then see a large structure surrounded by smooth columns, each topped with a large red gem. Surrounding the Shrine are decorations that represent the rising flames of the hearth and forge.

Inside, rests the ancient knowledge of the previous fire priestesses and is only accessible to those in service to the holy Shrine. Currently, two young blonde shrine maidens serve the Shrine and help the Priestess with her duties.

The shrine has recently came back into ownership and the control of the holy priestess of fire, after a brief period of new ownership, due to circumstances that cannot be revealed under threat of incineration.
