These are certainly a geographical and geological conundrum. In an area of Cretaria, one will find several large landmasses floating in the air with nothing to support them.

Even more unusual, unlike the rest of frigid Cretaria, these islands are quite green and share a very temperate climate, which is why many farmers and faming communes live on these islands, spending their days tending the land in their floating paradise.

But all is not well here. Indeed, even if the residents are all farmers, the islands are part of Cretaria. This point is made clear by the soldiers that stop on the islands to take the farmers' crops back to the capital, sometimes leaving nothing for the farmers themselves.

Also, these landmasses are actually something much more sinister. They are, in fact, pieces of the Eye of God. When the Eye came to Cretaria, it shattered and broke into several pieces. These pieces still floated and most likely, people began settling on them without knowing their real nature. If the Spring of Life is activated, the landmasses begin to come together and reform themselves back into its original shape, that of the Eye of God.
